Division 2 - Aberaeron Reserves 0 v 6 Pencader

A six- nil scoreline correctly suggests a hugely one-sided game but it could have been quite different had Aberaeron taken their early chances. Dominating the first ten minutes, Aberaeron created a few chances before Robbie Evans spurned a great opportunity to blast over from inside the six-yard area. Shortly afterwards, Jake Forbes saw his penalty well saved by Pencader 'keeper Timms.

Despite this, Pencader took the lead following defensive dithering by Aeron. This was to be the story of the day with one defensive mistake following the last to essentially hand victory to Pencader. Having said that, Pencader's forwards combination of speed and trickery did cause Aberaeron's defense endless problems.

After Aberaeron's heads dropped, Pencader were able to committ more men forward to create enough chances to win the game comfortably. Although they will need to improve. Pencader showed themselves to be genuine contenders for the Second Divison title.
